Dr. Gregory L. Ayers
Dr. Ayers is a native of Indiana and a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine. He and his wife Sharon reside in Greenville and are the proud parents of four sons. Dr. Ayers began Pelham Links Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in 1983. Then in 1992, Dr. Ayers built a 10,000 square foot state of the art facility to provide the very latest in dental care to his patients. Pelham Links Family & Cosmetic Dentistry has been featured in Dental Economics as one of the showcase dental offices in the country. Dr. Ayer's commitment to quality dentistry has been demonstrated by his post graduate education. Dr. Ayers has studied under the most renowned cosmetic and restorative dentists in the country. He is a graduate and teaching mentor at the elite Ross Nash Institute for Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Ayers lectures around the country to young dentists on "Practice Building by Delivering Service Excellence." Dr. Ayers is also the creator and founder of SMILES FOR A LIFETIME, an all volunteer dental program for needy children in South Carolina. Dr. Ayers served on Governor David Beasley's Health Care Advisory Board during his tenure as governor. |
Dr. Kyle S. Greer
A native of Greenville, South Carolina, Dr. Kyle S. Greer considers it a privilege to serve the community that has raised him over the years. He has been married to his wife, Angie, also from Greenville, for sixteen years.
They have two sons. Dr. Greer graduated from Washington Avenue Christian High School and then completed his undergraduate studies at Clemson University majoring in Microbiology. He received his dental degree at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston in 1994 where he was honored with the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Award. Following graduation, he entered a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry program ( AEGD) at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, where emphasis was placed on treating difficult restorative cases, implants, orthodontics and endodontics. Advanced education is a priority for Dr. Greer in order for him to stay up to date with a constantly changing profession.
He has a passion for cosmetic dentistry and helping people improve their smiles. He has studied cosmetic dentistry at the Nash Institute under the well know cosmetic dental leader Ross Nash. He also maintains extensive continuing education in the area of cosmetic dentistry. He is also active member of ADA, AGD and SCDA and his volunteer time is spent at the Greenville Free Dental Clinic. Besides spending time with his wife and family, Dr. Greer is involved in his church, community and enjoys cycling, movies and a good workout after work. |
Dr. Shannon D. Hudson
Dr. Shannon C. Hudson has practiced dentistry in Greenville since 2000.
Prior to coming to the Upstate area, he attended Texas A&M University and Ohio State University, majoring in zoology. He then graduated from The Ohio State University School of Dentistry in 1997 with an award in implant dentistry from the International Congress of Oral Implantology. Following graduation, Dr. Hudson completed Commissioned Officer's Training in the United States Air Force with the honor of "Distinguished Graduate". He then entered a one year AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residency program at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, that emphasized oral surgery, IV sedation, endodontics, periodontics, and restorative dentistry. Dr. Hudson attends numerous continuing education courses each year, enabling him to provide the highest quality of care to his patients and stay at the forefront of his profession. In addition, Dr. Hudson is an active member of the ADA, AGD, International Congress of Implantology, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, South Carolina Dental Association and the Seattle Study Group. In the community, Dr. Hudson gives back by being involved in the Greenville Free Medical Clinic, international mission trips with local churches, and by visiting schools to educate children on proper dental care.
Dr. Hudson lives in Simpsonville with his wife, Melissa, and their three children. He is an active member of his church and enjoys golf, fishing, and singing in his spare time. |
Dr. Robert F. Powell, Jr.
Dr. Powell is a native of Greenville, South Carolina. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Suzie, and they have two daughters, Morgan and Madelyn. Dr. Powell is a graduate of J.L. Mann High School and received his B.S. in Physics from Furman University. He then moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina to attend The University of North Carolina School of Dentistry while his wife attended NC State for Veterinary School. Dr. Powell believes in continuously being a student of the profession he loves and far exceeds the yearly requirements for continuing education. He is a member of the ADA, AGD, SCDA, Seattle Study Club and the Greenville County Dental Society. He has attended several comprehensive courses at the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study and the Nash Institute. In his spare time Dr. Powell is an active member of his church, serves at the Greenville Free Dental Clinic, and enjoys spending time with his family and their two retired-racer greyhounds. |
Dr. Robert L. Keels
Dr. Keels graduated from The Medical University of South Carolina, College of Dental Medicine in May of 2006. He was the recipient of the Student Dental Award presented by the Academy of General Dentistry for his knowledge, interest and proficiency in the area of general dentistry! Prior to attending The Medical University of South Carolina, Dr. Keels graduated Gardner -Webb University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Dr. Keels attended Gardner -Webb on Academic and Football Scholarships. He played football for all four years. Dr. Keels went on dental mission trips to Honduras in 2000 and 2005. He has also volunteered at several free dental clinics while attending the Medical University of South Carolina. His family is very active in Civic and Church related events in the Upstate. His father is Rev. Frank Keels at Abner Creek Baptist Church in Greer. His brother, Dr.
Josh Keels is a Chiropractor practicing in Greer. Dr. Keels lives in Duncan along with his wife, Tara and their two sons Austin and Harrison. His hobbies include spending time with his wife and son, working out and most sports. |
